Since 1978, AAASC has promoted physician owned and directed ambulatory surgery facilities providing cost effective, patient centered, high quality care. AAASC is the proactive, progressive ASC industry association leader. AAASC is dedicated to bringing the industry together!

As a member of FASCA of TN, you receive valuable benefits not available elsewhere to help you, your center and the patients you serve. Here are some of those benefits:

Representation – The FASCA of TN is the only organization that maintains close contact with State agencies to monitor and impact regulations that govern ASCs in Tennessee.

The Society maintains a full-time staff and Nashville-based lobbyist. Support from members like you has allowed FASCA of TN to support legislators around the state who believe in the ASC industry and help unseat those who do not. FASCA of TN has established itself as a potent force in Nashville and has recently created TASCPAC, FASCA of TN’s Political Action Committee.

Alliance – Representation doesn’t stop there. Through participation in national associations representing the ambulatory surgery center industry and alliances with associations in other states FASCA of TN is able to monitor and influence activities in Washington, DC and provide a “heads-up” to FASCA of TN members about trends in other states around the nation.

Continuing Education – The scope and quality of educational opportunities offered by FASCA of TN are second to none. Professional programs are carefully designed and clearly presented by recognized experts in the field.

A typical FASCA of TN meeting may include educational opportunities on the following topics: Legislative and Regulatory Issues, Ambulatory Surgery Management, Technical Training, Labor Relations, Risk Management, plus many more subjects.

To top it all off, FASCA of TN is an approved continuing education provider of nursing CE and FASCA of TN can issue contact hours to program participants who are licensed registered nurses in Tennessee.

Communication – Constant communication on legislative, regulatory matters and industry news is sent via fax and email to all FASCA of TN members as issues arise.”
